10m opened up this lunchtime, with Es clearly present to the NE, out towards Scandinavia from Wales. The path was quite clear from the pattern of reception reports (my antenna was an omni-directional 14MHz vertical delta loop on its first harmonic).
A UA0 station in Irkutsk, near Lake Baikal, was heard here briefly, which I guess means a transient multi-Es path.
