Can you feel the aurora?

Aurora, seen from my QTH, 2015 October 07

  1. Kaspersky is telling me that your aurora pic is a phishing link ! It won't display the photo either.

  2. Well, it's my own photo, has only gone from my computer to Blogger, and is kosher in all ways. Kaspersky is getting it wrong - and it's a Russian-based software!

  3. I think Kaspersky had a real hiccup there. All is well now. No idea what was going on. No aurora from my QTH sadly.

    1. No. The forecast glancing blow from a CME never actually hit the Earth. But the spot that produced the CME was still growing significantly when it vanished over the limb, so maybe next month we'll see something?
