Very quiet overnight

Another beautiful reference for very quiet geomagnetic conditions (Kp 1 or below all day) captured at 14MHz overnight, with no spots other than ground wave signals from a couple of UK stations throughout, and a single DK station at 02:10UT.

The auroral oval forecast model does indeed show a likelihood of very localised, weak ionisation over northern Germany.  I guess that the single spot, which in fact came in at quite a good SNR of -21dB/2500Hz indicates this was weak auroral Es path.

  1. G0UPL seems to be in KM46 (Dodecanese). He was one of the few I decoded last night. I wonder...73, Bas
